In order to print on a Canon printer, you need to connect your Windesheim card to your account once. You can do this on a Canon multifunction printer (MFP) with a PIN code. Connecting on a small printer (a.k.a. i-Sensys) is not possible.
Connect
- Request a pin code in the Windesheim print portal. (Request a pin code).
You will then receive the pin code you need to link the pass by email.
- Place your card on the card reader and wait until you hear a beep.
The location of the pass reader may differ from the image below.
- The Canon printer indicates that the card is unknown and requests for the PIN code.
- Enter the PIN code and tap [Aanmelden/ Register].
- Your card is now connected and can be used to log in at one of the Canon printers.
- Tap [Afmelden/ Log out] or put your card on the card reader until you hear a beep tone.
Disconnect
If you have lost your card or no longer want to use it for printing, you can disconnect it in the print portal.
- Go to: print.windesheim.nl
- Log in with your Windesheim username and password.
- Press the
button.
- Click on [Cards].
- Click [Disconnect cards].
- Click on [Log out].
